I am lucky to have had some fantastic clients and June brought me three brides tying the knot. My first wedding of the month was a backyard bash for a hundred in the quaint town of Wakefield. The savvy budget-concscious bride had hand-painted wine glasses, which was served during dinner. Lanterns, tealights, and Christmas lights adorned the dinner and auxialiary tents. Congratulations Dawn and Chris!

On June 26th, I assisted in the nuptuals of Kierstan and Drew. This couple wanted a small intimate wedding, and chose Sardella's in Newport for their reception. The ceremony took place at the King Park Gazebo, and Amanda Bryan of It's My Party in Middletown made the most yummy sea-inspired cupcakes and cookie favors. Congratulations Kierstan and Drew!

Although the weather looked ominous at 9:30am, the sky cleared and sun came out just in time for my next clients wedding. My second wedding was an Indian/Western fusion experience with a traditional ceremony with fire and mandap at Colt State Park. The reception took place at Restaurant CAV in Providence. Brightly-colored sari's adorned the mandap and pews, and red velvet cupcakes and crystal chandeliers were the focal point amid the Middle Eastern themed CAV. |
