Have you tried to plan, but aren't sure where to start?

I hear from brides all the time who are stressed out and overwhelmed at all of the tasks associated with their wedding.  They feel behind in planning, and just can't seem to focus on the details because of job commitments or because they physically live someplace else. Does this sound familiar? Somewhere between an elegant Newport, Rhode Island wedding and where you are right this second can seem like a huge gray area.

Past clients have told me I allowed them to relax and take some of this burden off their shoulders. When I work with a couple, I completely understand you may already be at your limit with work and life. I want you to feel like you have someone you can confide in who will be with you every step of the way. No question is too insignificant or too silly. Let me guide you along the way as we build a wedding that represents the two of you. Together, we will tackle vendor interviews, contracts, and choosing the best vendor services for you- at a relaxed pace to keep you from feeling overwhelmed.

Do you have a vision or theme in the back of your head already? Whether it is a beach ceremony with a tented reception, or a traditional church service with a lavish reception at one of the mansions, I will take care of all the details so that you can relax and enjoy your time with friends and family.

Partial Planning With Day-Of Services

Feel as though you have some tasks accomplished, but could use some support?  It's not uncommon to hear, "I love my reception site, but I have no idea where to go from here."  This is what typically happens: a bride is all gung-ho in the weeks following her engagement, books one or two vendors right away, and coasts for a while, only to find out 2 months have gone by and she is now behind in planning. While I work with just about any vendor a bride has chosen, I also have contacts that I have worked with that I feel do a fantastic job, and am happy to offer referrals when asked.

Day-of-Wedding Coordination

Many of my past Day-Of clients really enjoyed the planning process. But the details! You can keep yourself up at night trying to think of how everything is supposed to come together.  That's why as time moved closer to their weddings they realized they needed someone to take that pressure off of their shoulders.

Many times I come across logistical issues that a bride has overlooked: floral delivery occurring after the photographer arrives, or lack of transportation post-wedding.

I also retain copies of contracts for a reason: I always read the fine print.  Recently I had a Bride considering between two catering companies.  She sent me both contracts to look at and in very small writing it clearly stated that Company # 1 did not supply waitstaff- they would need to be hired at the couples' cost.  She had naturally assumed that waitstaff was included in her package. Although Company #2's quote was higher, it did include waitstaff and was much less when we investigated the costs of hiring servers from an event temp agency.

"We had heard such wonderful things, and were still beyond thrilled with the services provided to make our wedding day perfect! "Above and beyond" didn't do Jocelyn justice. All the details everyone raved about we left in her hands and it was perfection. We did not have to worry about one detail and we can honestly say we wouldn't have changed a thing!"
